William made history as the creator of Da Jammies. The first urban hip-hop animated series on Netflix, where it ran for an unprecedented two years. A visionary in blending music, story, and culture, he now leads Scarlet Oak’s upcoming animated pipeline slated for 2026, including District D7, GG Undercover, and Magic at Midnight, all in active development. His storytelling is rooted in cultural authenticity and future focused worldbuilding helping to guide the studio’s creative vision.

Billy is a veteran music executive with over 15 years of success across production, licensing, and artist development. He’s produced multi platinum hits for Ella Mai, Mark Morrison, and Jill Scott, and secured publishing and recording deals with majors like Warner Chappell, Sony, and Universal to name a few. His expertise extends to sync licensing for major films like Waist Deep and In the Mix, bringing a sharp business edge and unmatched creative instinct to every Scarlet Oak project.
